I know this dude that likes a lot of jazz fusion and prog and today he let me borrow this CD that he said I HAD to hear. Its called Mondo garaj by garaj mahal. Well, its badass. The bass player has a real cool slap techinque that sounds like claypool. I think they are a local band...I need to look into em more.

Garaj Mahal is great! Although I haven't invested in any of their CD's a friend of mine made me a comp disc and it's kewl.
