I am huge fan of Lou Reed, both solo and with the Velvet Underground.
I think he writes brillant lyrics and love alot of his music, fav albums by him as a solo artist are 'transformer' ' Berlin' and 'New York' one of my favorite artists and wonder if any one on this board is a fan.

I'm a casual fan at best but it's only b/c I haven't delved much into his stuff like I've wanted too. Whaddaya recommend?

Start with the live 'Rock n Roll Animal'
Then go to the 'Berlin' album and 'New York' albums
