| So far: Funkadelic - Maggot Brain Like a weird, Prog album with funk parts...more Rock guitar than I expected...but mostly just plain weird and drony in places. Not bad though... Sly & The Family Stone - There's A Riot Goin' On Boring as shit. Next up: T. Rex - Electric Warrior Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers If you can't tell, it's a 1971 theme... | |

| Funkadelic did the experimental stuff, Parliament did the more straight-ahead funk.

| Man, I think that Sly and the Family Stone album is a classic, personally I think it is a great album.
I also love that T. Rex and Rolling Stones disc and are among my favorite albums | |

| I wanted to try Sly because dUg Pinnick is a huge fan, I like a couple of the hits, and this album came out in my birth year...but man, it is NOT hitting me thus far. | |
