Easier said than done man, the economy is fucked. My neighbor has been job hunting since March and he has a similar background as mine.

Damn dude, especially in a city like L.A. you'd think there'd be something!

There are 17 million people in the greater Los Angeles area. The unemployment rate is close to 10%, which means there are 1.7 million people looking for work besides me.

Fast food is next, I haven't had any luck with anything else.

Damn bro, fast food looks like it's a pain in the ass kinda job but it's better than starving...1.7 million is a lot of people.

At least in fast food sometimes you get hooked up with free food, so there is a bit of a perk, a bit.

I've been on a Siena Root kick the last few days, I hadn't jammed 'em all that much in the last year or so.

Sometimes step children suck too...I get tempted to pack my shit and head out to Tennessee and see if I can make it as a songwriter. I just got a lot on my mind right now, I need a Red Bull and just mellow out.

A little better today, there is also some family drama going on back home that added to my stress level.

Aside from being completely broke, I'm okay.

Nothing like family drama...and as bad as a shitty job is, being broke is worse.

Why did people think Trouble and King's X were Christian bands?

I can see Trouble, at least on the first 3 albums (especially The Skull)...and the third album is called "Run To The Light" with a heavenly cover.

King's X I don't get at all. Ty told me once that they are a "spiritual band", but he said it's "not the same thing" as being a religious group.

Maybe because of Out Of The Silent Planet which was the title to a C.S. Lewis book and since he was very open about being a christian critics applied it to KX?

I know I thought of them as a christain band at one time so I must have read or heard it somewhere.

Good points chewie, I can see that.

Many of Eric Wagner's early lyrics were very christian in nature with the theme of love and goodwill toward your fellow man. But they weren't promoting themselves on that basis. When I think christian metal, I think Barren Cross or Stryper and Trouble had nothing in common with those guys, IMO.

Joey Belladonna's debut solo album should have been titled "Hey Scott & Charlie, Go Fuck Yourselves".
