I like Plant but I think Mercury is the better vocalist.

Same here. Freddy was an original, but I'm just more of a Zep fan.

Hetfield. Though both of them are just passable. I've never liked Mustaine's voice but the music makes up for it. He sounds too much like a bratty kid that I'd like to smack the shit out of.

Lol! I like 'em both a lot, Dave was best on CTE and James on Load IMO. Dave has more charachter to his vox and James more style.

(Look at me, resurrecting all these dead threads tonite!)

Here's a tough one.

Halford vs. Dickinson

I have to go with Bruce Bruce on this one. I love both, though. It's more of a preference though, because Maiden was the first metal band I really got into.

I got into Maiden first as well, but I have to go with Halford here.

Bruce - did anyone expect me to answer any different? I think Bruce's voice has held up better than Halford's. Anyway, I always like Mr. Bruce Bruce's voice better, but Halford is fucking awesome too!

No not really, I'm just surprised your answer wasn't in all caps.

I love Halford and think he has great charisma....but Bruce gets the edge, I was the Maiden guy and have been having this argument with friends since I was 13. LOL.

I would have to go with Mustaine over Hetfield.

Gramm and Turner I don't recognize the names, maybe if I knew what bands they sang for....

Actually this next on for me is not a hard one. Dickinson over Halford easy.

Lou Gramm was Foreigner's singer, and Joe Lynn Turner sang for Rainbow, Deep Purple, and a few others I think.

I like Turner a bit better than Gramm, though.

I'm gonna have to say Lou Gramm then, I really dig the early Foreigner albums, I really didn't get too into the Dio-less Rainbow though, although there were a few tracks that were good.

Playing catch-up here...

Mustain vs. Hetfield - MUSTAINE. James was better early-on before he started "singing".

Halford vs. Dickenson - HALFORD. This one was tough, just been a Priest fan longer I suppose, even if Rob moves around on stage like a sedated sloth these days

Gramm vs. Turner - GRAMM by default. Don't care much for either, but there's some Foreigner tunes I like. Don't know enough JLT to form an opinion.
