Here are some of the groups and artists I like:

Tangerine Dream
Klause Schulze
Micheal Hoenig
Edgar Froese
Peter Baumann
Chris Franke
Manuel Göttsching
Kevin Keller
Michael Garrison
Ash Ra Tempel
Jan Hammer (his first solo album is pure EM.......... no fusion at all)
Synergy (basically Larry Fast)
Yanni(I know, but the first two albums are very good EM before he went all fluffy)
Jean Michel-Jarre
Vangelis
Kitaro

I mostly like the 70s stuff from these artists that are from the 70s, though they have put out some good 80s to modern day stuff.

Tangerine Dream is pretty cool. I used to have a couple Vangelis records as a kid.

However, I'm not really into electronics unless they are used as the background pad for real instruments.

There's just something about buzzing, swirling and mellotron laden (especially 70s) EM that my brain just likes.............

I think that's why I like the album Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd so much!

Ash Ra Tempel is ok but other than that a resounding no unless somebody convinces me otherwise.

How about:

Klaus Schulze - Bayreuth Return(1975)

This was recorded on just two tracks & at one go.

Klaus Schulze - Velvet Voyage(1977)

Tangerine Dream - Rubycon Part 2(1975)

The Mellotron choir that starts at about the 2:19 mark is eerie.

For some reason, the beginning of this one always reminds me of Camel. It must be the flute.
Tangerine Dream - In The Big Sleep In Search Of Hades(1976)

Edgar Froese - Epsilon In Malaysian Pale(1975)

Edgar Froese - Maroubra Bay(1975)

Maybe I'm just effin' weird Laughing

I love electronic film scores, but that's because the visuals are required for me to feel fulfilled.
