Bad news: Moving is a pain in the ass, every single aspect of it. Packing, hauling, calling utility companies, scheduling time off from work, etc.
Good news: I don't care cause I have my OWN place again. No roommates! Decent neighborhood (not exactly hipster central but who cares) and I can walk to work in 10 minutes.
Whew! The thought of having actual privacy again feels like I won the lottery or something.

The new place is only going to cost me an additional $50 a month over what I'm paying now...but since I will no longer require a monthly bus pass ($75) I'm actually going to be saving $25.

Moving mostly complete, just waiting for the new futon mattress to be delivered. It's a nice little studio apartment, just the perfect size for me and the cat. The walk to work will take approx 15 minutes.
