Classy statement by Rob; unfortunately the reader comments below the article are full of the usual numb-nuts throwing poop at each other.

I'm pretty much a live-and-let-live kinda guy. You want to be gay? How does it effect me? It doesn't? Ok then, go for it. You want to be uber-religious? Does it effect me? No? Have at it, chief.

If it's not hurting anyone and doesn't have a direct impact on how I live my life, I don't care what you do. I just want to be left alone.

Ditto. As Ted Nugent put it, "You can fuck buffalo for all I care, just dont' make me watch."

Liked Rob's statement. I'm disappointed KK Downing won't be on the new Priest album though.

Yeah, I heard about that. It's more about their public performances, which are usually in front of churches and government buildings. Still, even considering any of the years they could get (I've read reports of everything from 2 to 7) is a major over reaction on the justice system's part. It's been nothing but an embarrassment to the Russian government, especially since Pussy Riot are probably the only internationally popular Russian band going right now.

^^ earlier this week "The Onion" posted a headline on Facebook that said "America Celebrates One Full Week Without A Mass Shooting."

...after the Empire State Building incident this morning they re-posted it with this addition:

"UPDATE: Never mind."

Just saw this in the paper earlier this week. Y'know, every time I watch "Storage Wars" on TV I always wonder if something like this has ever happened... now I know!!

Human organs found in Fla. storage unit

PENSACOLA, FLA. - A former medical examiner crudely preserved human brains, hearts, and lungs in soda cups and plastic food containers found inside a storage unit in Florida, authorities said Tuesday.
A man bought the contents of the storage unit at auction last week in Pensacola and made the gruesome discovery after being overpowered by a strange smell while sifting through furniture and boxes.
Authorities said the unit had been rented by Dr. Michael Berkland, who worked at the medical examiner's office from 1997 until 2003, when he was fired for not completing autopsy reports. Officials were trying to determine whether Berkland broke any laws.

That last line kills me. "Trying to determine" if the guy broke any laws? YA THINK? Geez.

Imagine what it must've been like for the poor b@stard who found this stuff.

(Sifts through boxes) "Junk...junk...junk...hey, what the hell is that? AAAAAAIIIIIIGH!"
I'd need therapy for the rest of my life.

I hope the auctioneers gave the guy his money back.
