I always liked Dark Ages.


That was the first JT album that I had ever heard.

Side nite:
The good ol' Alum Rock Public Library (that was on my way home from middle school) had this in their record section to check out. That was the smallest library, but it had some of the best music selections. They even had Marillion lps later(Misplaced Childhood and Clutching At Straws)!! I always wondered who made the decisions on getting music for the rock section. That place not only contributed to my reading habit(which was huge then) but also music listening.... I even volunteered there one summer.... I was such a geek.

This is a killer record which features most of the current King Crimson touring lineup.

I have this as well and it is killer. I have all the Projekts and that one might be my fave.

I was driving the minivan today(it's cassette only)....so a metal comp tape from the mid 90s that an employee had made for me.

I really dig the "Waiting For The Punchline" era of Extreme and it's the only era I listen to. Three really good non album b-sides came from the aforementioned EP and Single which I think I'll just make a separate EP of.

The new Tom Petty is good, I've only gotten a chance to listen to it once but I liked most of it. It's a rockin' album, stripped down and gritty, sounds like it was recorded primarily live in the studio. Mike Campbell is always good.

I'm gonna grab that Petty soon. I love what I've heard.

Not a Tom Petty fan, but at least I can respect what he does..... started watching Running Down a dream on directv - pretty cool doc.... need to finish it up!

That's a great doc, more thorough than most. Tom's transparency and storytelling is really engaging.
