I know this isn't a Thrash album but whaddaya vatos think of MD.45-The Craving? I think it's a very good album, a nice piece of Punk and Metal. I got it the day it came out in '95 and again when Mustaine remastered it and sang vox. I like both versions but I prefer the original b/c I'm more used to it. I wonder if I'd feel the same way if I heard the remastered version first? Anyway, warts and all I think this is a great album. Lemieux and DeGrasso kicked ass on this album IMO.

I like it. I have a vauge memory of hearing the original version (probably only a song or 2 actually) a buddy of mine had. Probably didin't think much of it at the time.

When I heard that Dave was re-recording parts of it, I got jazzed. I really didn't remember anything from the original, so for me, MD.45-The Craving was like getting a new Megadeth album in my mind. Which was fine by me.

I have not heard the so called remastered version, but I hate when an artists re-records over someone else's parts when they reissue an album, leave it the way it was.

I like the original LP and it was interesting to hear someone else's voice over Mustaine's lyrics.

I've never heard the re-master, because I always really liked Lee Ving's vocals on the original album.

Both versions are great but the 1st version is my favorite, I like the punk sound to Ving's vocals and the parts with the harmonica, but the 2nd version has some perks as well like extra songs. My vote goes to version 1 MD.45.
