| What are your answers to these 5 questions? 1. Favorite Maiden album (and why) 2. Favorite Maiden album cover 3. How did you first hear Maiden? 4. Paul or Bruce? 5. Did you have to ask someone what a "Harlot" was?
my answers: 1. Somewhere In Time. there's just something magical about this album. 2. Debut album (original version) 3. HBO Video Jukebox - The Number of The Beast video (1982) 4. Bruce (sorry DC) 5. Yes. I made the mistake of asking my Grandmother and Mother in the car while listening to the cassette....

1. Killers, it's bassically a perfect album, the band is top notch on it. 2. Somewhere In Time 3. Saw the Killers LP in my parents albums and decided I NEEDED to hear something that cool. 4. Paul 5. I think I looked it up actually.

1. Somewhere In Time. Atmospheric, melodic, perfect in my opinion. 2. Powerslave 3. "Live After Death" was aired on MTV back in 1985. That's when I became a fan. 4. Bruce. Paul is crap. 5. Nope. |

Number of the Beast introduced me to the band, so it has nostalgic value. 2. Seventh Son or Somewhere in Time3. A buddy in high school played the vinyl album for Number of the Beast for me . And a different dude that sat in front of me in homeroom had a Live After Death backpatch on his denim jacket. Eddie stared at me for 45 minutes straight every day. 4. Bruce 5. Nah, after hearing the song, it was easy enough to figure it out.

That album holds up so beautifully, I think I love it now more now than when it first came out. The Lonliness Of The Long Distance Runner is one of their most impressive "epic" tracks.

Oh I agree...love that one...Bruce's vocal is especially impressive on that track. I always liked "Heaven Can Wait" too...very energetic.

| What are your answers to these 5 questions?
1. Favorite Maiden album (and why) Number of the Beast, have fond childhood memories of this album, it's the first album I ever had. 2. Favorite Maiden album cover Killers, Eddie just looks awesome like he's been on a killing spree and enjoying it 3. How did you first hear Maiden? My dad well stepdad, we used to jam to all sorts of cool stuff 4. Paul or Bruce? Damn I hate this question, I'll say Bruce, Paul then Blaze in that order 5. Did you have to ask someone what a "Harlot" was? I think maybe my dad told me, but I don't recall asking anyone
Here's a good question, What is your 1 favorite song off of each album?

| 1. Favorite Maiden album (and why)POWERSLAVE. It wasn't the first Maiden I heard, or even the first Maiden I owned, but it's the one I return to most often when I'm in the mood for Maiden. 2. Favorite Maiden album coverKILLERS. Though I have to say my favorite piece of Eddie artwork isn't even an album cover, it's the cover to the "Flight of Icarus" single: Flamethrower Eddie for the win! 3. How did you first hear Maiden?Back when I first got MTV I'd occasionally see a clip of them doing "Running Free" w/DiAnno, but it wasn't till the "Run To The Hills" video came along that I finally sat up and really took notice of 'em. 4. Paul or Bruce?Bruce! 5. Did you have to ask someone what a "Harlot" was? Probably. | |

1. I'd have to say Seventh Son... because it's the one I've heard at least 800 thousand times without it ever getting old. (Minus that godawful song "Can I Play With Madness"). 2. Fear of the Dark or Powerslave. 3. My dad's a big fan, and he bought me Dance of Death as a new release. 4. Bruce Bruce for sure. 5. Nope.

| "Can I Play With Madness" is actually a great live track, it works much better in that context.

This is true. Although, I always thought they did the track well, studio or not. At one point I was the only one of my friends who liked that album actually.

1. I think Killers and Number of the Beast are the best, but I have such fond memories of repeatedly listening to the Piece of Mind record at my friend's house down the street that I have to vote for it. 2. Killers is my favorite cover. 3. I bought a K-tel record that had Run to the Hills on it. 4. I love those first two albums, but Bruce still wins this one hands down. 5. No, but I did look up 22 Acacia Ave.
