LOL!!!! That IS one of my favorite concept albums and one of my top albums!! I Love it!!! OM:II on the other hand is much like the sequel to Chinatown, too little, too late.

I would say 'The Wall' but I have played it waaaaaaaaay too much, but it still deserves a mention

Spec mentioned a different type of concept album in the now listening to thread.

Dave Brubeck's Time Out is an instrumental record, but it's concept was to use odd time signatures...stuff that usually wasn't associated with jazz at the time...and use that as the basis for each composition. So every tune was written around a particular time signature(s) and that helped create a unique experience.

So it doesn't necessarily have to be a lyrical concept.

The Eagles-Desperado, not prog but a good concept album nonetheless.

Mindcrime was more or less my introduction to the whole "concept album" and one of the few that I can actually follow, so it gets the nod from me.

Alice Cooper-The Last Temptation, Brutal Planet & Dragontown.

If it's true that the new Rush is gonna be a concept album I'm certain it'll be one of the best as well.

Jethro Tull - A Passion Play (this one gets a lot of hate...... I enjoy it)
Pretty Things - SF Sorrow (didn't know about these guys until Bigelf covered "Baron Saturday")

A Passion Play is a killer album. Maybe not quite as good as TAAB, but damn close.
