The band has 6 songs demo-ed so far and are planning on hitting the studio early Oct with a new release slated for March/April 2012 followed by a US tour. They are playing the Staples Center in May, it's a larger venue than I would have expected. Good for them.

I'm sorta feeling the same way. I haven't been listening to nearly as much thrash these days. I need to be in the mood for it. In that regard, I haven't been all that anxious to get the new Overkill just yet. I will at some point. It's just not a priority right now.
I did however bring their last one Ironbound into work this week to see if that kickstarts my mood.

I've sampled bits and pieces of The Electric Age, it's Overkill, it's good. However, it's rather seldom that I get into a thrash mood anymore and I don't want to listen to the album in the wrong frame of mind, because then I'll end up just dismissing it.
