What cool stuff did you blow your money on today?

Ordered a new power cable & adapter for my laptop and 2 HDMI cables for my PS3 from Amazon the other day. Should be here anytime now.

Nice! Are you much of a gamer, Met? I am from NES to the 64...I don't play as much as I used to by a long shot but I still enjoy a video game weekend once in a while...

I used to spend all my free time online, but now I rarely use my playstation for anything other than Netflix. If I'm ever playing anything, it's Battlefield 3.

Yeah, I usually reach for anything Zelda nowadays and sometimes a few others.

Found a BUNCH of really killer records at Goodwill!!! It looks like someone donated their Jazz collection.... I HAD to put some back, just couldn't afford them all. I also did not know that there was a Quad version of Birds Of Fire..... I do now and it's mine!!!!

I dropped all of our tax stuff off at the accountant's office over the weekend. Hopefully we'll have a decent pile of cash comin' our way too.

Of course, however much we get, my wife already has plans for it, none of which are very fun. So I sez to her "All I want is 25 bucks that I can blow on some used CDs at Hastings. Do whatever the fuck you gotta do with the rest." I mean, I haven't bought any CDs at all thus far in 2013. I'm goin' into withdrawal up in here... and I can make $25 go pretty far in the used-CD selection at Hastings' site.

Man I wish I still lived minutes away from Hastings.

I would have to drive halfway across the country to get to a Hastings store (I live on the wrong side of the Rockies - haha!)... but I order used CDs from their web site all the time.

I'm buying a new windshield for my car after something flew up and cracked it the other night on the way home from work. It's been slowly spreading for the last few days now.

Ordered a whole mess o' used CDs from GoHastings (as I said I would a page or so ago in this thread)... still waitin' for the rest to arrive in the mail but so far I've gotten:

Ace Frehley - Anomaly
The Donnas - Gold Medal
Airbourne - Runnin' Wild
Tesla - Bust A Nut

Besides these, I have two volumes of those cheapy "Extended Versions" live series on the way (Cinderella and Tommy Bolin-era Deep Purple), one of Chris (Savatage) Caffery's solo albums, and one or two others that I can't remember off the top of my head. (I was on my sixth or seventh beer when I placed the order...haha)

I dig that Tesla album...2nd fave of theirs behind Psychotic Supper.

Haven't listened to it all the way thru yet but it sounds like a goody. But then, I don't think Tesla has ever made a really "bad" album.

Till recently the only Teslas I owned were "Five Man Acoustical Jam" and "Great Radio Controversy"... over the past couple of years I've been collecting the rest of their stuff that I've been missing. I think the only studio discs I still need at this point are "Into the Now" and the "Reel To Reel" covers album.

"Bust" is the one I listen to the most nowadays. The only ones I lack are the covers albums as I'm not a big fan of covers albums but if I ever find 'em cheap...

Just pre-paid for tickets to see Corrosion of Conformity, Danzig and Doyle(Misfits) at the Ogden Theater in Dever next month, boo ya, that's gonna be bad ass for sure!

That'd be a kewl show. I'd like a full Misfits reunion though.
