| I had never seen that Kreator cover before. I always wondered why the released version was so dull. | |

| That Pantera one was pretty bad, yeah glad that was changed, I wonder how many people would hang a poster of that on the wall? maybe in the bathroom? that would be funny. | |

| I never knew about that Maiden album. I vaugely remember it being changed, but I thought it was just for re-issue purposes. Never knew it casued a stink with some folks. Wasn't that tittie cover for Bon Jovi the Japanese or European release? It exists somewhere doesn't it? I remember seeing a copy of that Pantera album in a used shop years ago. I just assumed it was a bootleg or something. If I knew then what I know now, I probably woulda picked it up. I'm sure it's a bit of a rareity these days. | |

| the promo copies of Slippery When Wet had that cover (my friend still has his), it was changed at the very last minute and I think delayed the album by a few weeks.
Same guy also has a promo copy of Climbin' The Walls that just says "Wrathchild" on it, instead of Wrathchild America.

I guess it was promo copies I've seen. I know I seen that version in vinyl of the Slippery cover in "real life" at record shows in the past. I had a buddy that had the robot rape cover vinyl album for GNR. | |

| If I remember correctly, there was a later vinyl reissue that restored the original cover.
I used to have that Robot Rape cover, I had a promo copy of that album originally. (stolen 20 years ago now).

| In Japan, they never changed the cover for Slippery When Wet, when I actually owned it, it had the chick cover. I had never even seen the "safe" version til 98 or so in a BMG catalogue. | |
