ATROPHY!!!

Who else digs this band? They were a pretty cool combo in the vein of Exodus, F&J, etc. with a hit of Nuclear Assault's social conscience. They wrote lotsa songs about such issues as animal testing, nuclear proliferation, yadda yadda yadda, but before you get the idea that they were a bunch of high brow snobs, they weren't above letting their hair down and writing a good ole fashioned thrash fest about getting hammered, called "Beer Bong!"

Thats my favorate song off socialized hate man!! I used to take hits to this song...even by myself..haha.

IMO I think socialized hate is better than violent by natue but both raging albums. The best arizona thrash band besides sacred reich and flotsam.

Totally underrated band. I love both albums. Once again they were part of the oversaturation of thrash in the late 80's and fell through the cracks.

I've been dying to get both albums but somehow always seem to forget. I'm gonna put 'em on my list right at the top.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about reviewing Socialized Hate after work tomorrow. Atrophy were an awesome band, it just sucks they came out so far at the end of the big boom.

Yeah, I finally got these albums a few months ago so I hope you review them DC.

I will, it's just a matter of actually having free time, doesn't happen very often lately unfortunately
