Paul Chain Violet Theatre

Subject: Paul Chain Violet Theatre Tue May 31, 2011 12:08 am

Starting off as a guitar player for Death SS, Paul Chain would become dissatisfied with the bands lyrical and musical direction and soon leave in 1984. Which would begin Paul Chain's Violet Theatre, quite frankly, the best experimental doom band (like Sabbath on an acid trip from hell) I've ever encountered. Why is he so largely forgotten I have no idea. But here's some tracks you guys should check out from the In The Darkness album:

Oh and as far as the lyrics go, Paul Chain uses an entirely phonetical language which sometimes uses real speech, but mostly just resembles it. Fucking geinus.
