I already got the haircut, doesn't bother me, I've only had it long for a couple years. I prefer it short and I look younger.

I should know for sure tomorrow. I met with the Hotel GM and we're waiting to hear back. The AV company has already told me they want me for the job, but the GM has veto power, so it's all up to him at this point.

For those interested in what I'm doing; I'm the new Assistant Audio Visual Director at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. I'm working for a company called Five Star Audio Visual that contracts at this hotel, there is also a location at Laguna Beach.

First day went great. Co-workers are very cool and it's a nice friendly vibe. It's a salaried position so I'm guaranteed 40 hours every week.

I have to contact the landlady and let her know I'll be late on the rent (9 days), but I think she will work with me. It costs too much money to evict, so I think she'll be fine with the delay.

Eventually I'll move when the lease runs out, but it's a short commute to work (6 miles) and the rent here is really affordable for Los Angeles.
