Did you do anything fun today?

I went out to Venice Beach for a couple hours this afternoon. I absolutely love standing out on the pier and listening to the waves come crashing into the beach. Lots of surfers, pretty California girls sunbathing, freaks of all description and other assorted people to watch.

I love being only 8 miles from the ocean. It does my soul good.

I envy you Shawn. The closest thing I get to the beach is the outdoor pool at the YMCA.

I did the lighting for a fashion photo shoot this afternoon. 4 hours hanging out with 5 foot 11 inch tall-blonde-size 0-supermodels in tiny dresses. Quite a lot of fun, the photographer was really good, the shots were very well composed and I was very happy with my lighting design.

I heard the word "totally" more in 4 hours than I have in the past year.

It seems girls are exactly the same on the other side of the country, too.

Today was another day of nothing. It was glorius, nothing but Netflix and music.

Today's my day off, we usually baby-sit two kids for friends of ours on Wednesday but we didn't have them this week cuz their family is vacationing in the Carolinas, so since I had the opportunity I simply did as little as possible.

Well. the use of the word "totally" is a leftover from the old "Valley Girl" speak from the early 80s, so I guess hearing it in California is somehow more authentic.

I helped the wife clean house, just made some red chili w/ground beef and chorizo for a nice Frito Pie lunch and then off to the garage for a work our later.

It's my birthday...but I have to work a 10 hour shift this evening...so the answer is NO.

Eh, nah not really. I go down to the beach alot, which is nice being so close to the ocean. Might as well enjoy it for the little bit I'm still here anyway. Last night I went to an arcade and whipped the shit out of Galaga for awhile though. That was pretty rad.

Bought stuff to make a homemade Starbucks Mocha Cookie Crumble and I've been playing SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Color & Gameboy advance emulators. Oh, and made ckn & dumpligs.

More video game emulators...

Not really, worked today.

Went to check a circuit in the breaker box and ended up getting stung by a wasp(They had a nest in it!). I got my revenge tonight when my wife and I got them while they were sleeping and destroyed that nest......... Take that waspies!!!!!!
