On my way to NY...............

I'll be in the East Village visiting my daughter for a few days, so I will be incommunicado. Think I will try to hit some Jazz clubs while I'm there as well!

The Village Vanguard and Smalls are a couple clubs worth checking out...beware, NY jazz clubs are expensive as hell.

Had a good and fun trip. We didn't get to make it to a Jazz club... just too tired after all that walking! The pizza does kick some serious ass( I don't know how I can eat the swill that they make here, anymore )...... as do the bagels. We went to see the 9/11 Memorial....... very impressive and sobering(they have a database were you can actually see a picture of who died). Times Square was crazy, the Met Museum was huge and
Central Park was pretty cool. We also saw some guys breakdancing in the Subway(which was fun to ride)......... threw them a few dollars for the entertainment(they were good!).



.......and WOW!!!!!! Lp prices are crazy!!! Stuff that I have paid 2-3 dollars for around here was priced like $20-30..... WTF. I even checked condition to see if it warranted those prices.... nope pretty much the same.
