Richard Linklater's "Boyhood," filmed the same child actor over 12 years.

One of my favorite directors, Linklater, keeps blowing my mind. This time it's a movie that he has intermittently (and purposefully) filmed over the past 12 years using the same child actor as his main character. It's received a 100 at Metacritic (47 critics so far) and has been noted as a landmark film. I have to find a way to see this.

Cool. It's a great concept, like a fictionalized version of the Up series.
