Your Top 5 *Sci-Fi* TV series?

I'm going to do a separate thread for Comedy/Drama/Horror, etc.

All-time, what are your 5 favorite sci-fi TV series. If you feel so inclined tell us why, share clips, etc.

I'll start: Some people might be surprised by a few of the really recent picks on my list, but it's accurate to how I feel right now.

1. The Twilight Zone
2. Star Trek - Original series
3. Lost
4. Doctor Who - Modern series
5. Fringe

honorable mentions: The Outer Limits, Battlestar Galactica (modern series), The X-Files, Star Trek: TNG

Hmmm... I can list five of my favorites, but I can't rank them in order:

Lost, Battlestar Galactica (modern series), X-Files, Star Trek:TNG, and Macross (original series)

Macross is the Japanese series that made up the first part of Robotech (kids series from the 80's)... a MUCH better show than what it was turned into for kid's weekday TV viewing (was not written to be a kid's show to begin with)

I saw a Macross movie in college and it blew me away. It was the one with the naked chick singer. Really strong stuff!
