Thanksgiving to me is overrated, I can't stand it, and can't wait for it to be over, I don't like the idea of getting together with people who don't give a damn to see me the rest of the year, and then have a big meal and have them shooting off there mouths about how there life is so damn tough as if mine was a piece of cake and if I open my mouth about anything, I just get one uped by someone who feels they are worse off and should have everyone feeling bad for them, I can make bad dry turkey myself and shitty ass stuffing with bull shit gravy all by my self I don't need family or friends for that shit. We also started doing the "Run To Feed The Hungry" thing the past couple of years, so that keeps people away as well.
