Interesting to compare this with the new YES album.

That is interesting!!!!!! I like both, but the Buggles version sounds, for lack of a better word, forlorn, like if you were living in the book 1984.

I was a little wary of the new Yes album at first, but it won me over. Good stuff that grows on me with each listen.

The more I listen to it, the more I like it! S.D., your right, it is a grower.

It helps that the title track started off as two really strong songs in the first place.

It seems like they didn't change much(real drums instead the Linn machine, Steve Howe flourishes) from the Buggles demos. The bass lines and keyboard melodies are all the same and Trevor Horn even sings backup....... they just updated it(for lack of a better word).

I like the new record, it's not as good as something like Drama, but I didn't really expect that either, these guys are much older now and I'm just glad they can still play and record good music.

I feel the same way about Jethro Tull. I'm just grateful they can still play effectively AND obviously still enjoy just performing.

You can't fake real and it's not necessary either.
