Can't believe there is no Captain Beyond thread on here yet, not that I've found anyway. I've been watching them on youtube, live in 72', and now I gotta give them a listen to all over again, this is just one band that kicks ass, and deserves some praise. I think I like there first self title album the best, but Dawn Explosion and Sufficiently Breathless are good too.

Now you're talkin'! Their debut is one of the best albums ever, period IMO and Evans' performance on it makes him one of the all time great vocalists. The other two albums are good and 'Starglow Energy' just kicks ass. I love this band. Willy Daffern wasn't as good a vocalist but put his own spin on things.

I recently picked up their s/t debut. I like what Im hearing very much.
