Top 5's - a game

Unmasked is a real low point for me. Outside of about 4 songs, and two of those aren't what I'd consider classics either. Kiss could do pop good, but this album just lacks in songwriting for me.

I didn't feel like digging through this thread, so if y'all already did this one, bite me.

I don't like Wishbone Four very much either, it's just not on par with the rest of their early catalog.

There's the Rub was the first album they released after Ted Turner left the band, and it's harder rocking than Wishbone Four.

This one made my head hurt, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with my rankings b/c like SD said that era is just too hard to do.

I only have the first three Wishbone albums. I need to get more. KC..... I'll have to think about that one.

A little over half of ITAOG is good the rest is sub par at best. Stanton Moore makes that album better.

Stanton Moore was the primary draw for me. I had stopped listening to C.O.C. when that album came out, but I was a fan of Stanton's solo albums and it was just too interesting of a combination for me to pass up.

I've only heard three full Martin era Sabbath albums (TYR, The Eternal Idol, and Headless Cross), and out of those TYR is my favorite.
