| This is incredibly cool. For those not aware, Rear Window was filmed using a "forced perspective", almost all the shots of the apartment complex happen out of the window of the main character's apartment, making the audience the voyeur. This video removes all scenes within the apartment, concentrating solely on shots that take place within the courtyard. This must have taken a LONG time to accomplish and it's simply extraordinary. At the beginning of the time lapse he allows you to see how he grabbed footage from the different camera angles and combined them into a single uninterrupted shot. | That's just brilliant. Amazing how seamless it is. And it really spells out how much is going on in terms of detail that Hitchcock gave attention to. Such a great movie. | |
