| I paid for the shit once, as far as I'm concerned that purchases me the rights to the SONG. I know that's not how copyright sees it...but I DON'T CARE, my way makes more sense.

Platypus - When Pus Comes To Shove (FINALLY!!!!)
REALLY??? I've had that since it came out! Great Album!!!!! I like how it rocks AND has elements of Fusion. Yeah, I had it for several years after it first came out being that I'm a King's X nut (and at the time a Dream Theater nut too)...but (long story) I had to sell of all my CDs a while back and have been in re-buy mode since about 2008...I just NOW was able to get this one back...yay! That's where I was at when this came out! I bought so many DT and KX related things it was silly, though, I never did get the Jelly Jam stuff. I was too busy buying the DT related projects(Magna Carta screwed that up).......... A person has only so much money
Glad ya got it back Thanks! As it stands, the only KX related (side) stuff I have is: Poundhound - Massive Grooves... Poundhound - Pineappleskunk dUg Pinnick - Emotional Animal dUg Pinnick - Strum Sum Up dUg Pinnick - Songs From The Closet, Vol 1 Ty Tabor - Moonflower Lane Ty Tabor - Safety Ty Tabor - Rock Garden Ty Tabor - Balance Ty Tabor - Something's Coming Ty Tabor - Tacklebox (2CD) Platypus - When Pus Comes To Shove Platypus - Ice Cycles The Jelly Jam - s/t Jughead - s/t Supershine - s/t Tres Mts - s/t I still need the second Jelly Jam, The Mob, Jerry's album, dUg's tribute album appearances, Ty's Guitar Zeus appearances, the Xenuphobe stuff and Naomi's Solar Pumpkin...

It's pretty good mid-paced stuff. The second song is much cooler!

| The African music bug bit me many years ago. I've heard a few of these on a comp. I guess it's Afrobeat, but its good! I bought this on vinyl from Amazon Marketplace! | |

| Here's a link to download one of the comps: http://traffic.libsyn.com/voodoofunk/KensChoice.mp3This is a new one, so I haven't heard it yet! Just right click and save. Voodoo Funk is the site and he actually has one LP comp, four Lp proper releases and a 45(it isn't out yet) out. Lps are at Amazon and other places. There are a bunch of mp3 comps, however, on his site. | |

Rockin! Real good album too, they've matured nicely since the debut.

I downloaded it but haven't had a chance to spin it yet. I'm kind of back on a "jazz trip" at the moment, too many years of being chemically depressed kind of ruined my appreciation for it. Now that I'm feeling positive again...jazz feels like a welcome cool breeze after standing in the desert for a decade. But..it's on the list!

| Some stinky ol' funk recorded at Ginger Baker's Studio in Lagos in 1973 or thereabouts.... Killer Afrobeat! I guess that he was Fela Kuti's drummer at some point in time. This arrived in the mail on Saturday. | |
