Yep, I still have that Black N Blue on LP too. I think it's their best album. They were one of those bands who got progressively cheesier with each record. (Not that the first album is Shakespeare by any means, of course...)

I grew up with Black 'n' Blue and Freight Train Jane among many other '80s cheese.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I still love Tha Cheez. I still listen to Kix, Cinderella, Babylon A.D., etc .... I just have a healthy sense of humor about it.

Side note: that latest Album Covers entry was my 100th article on HubPages. Fame and fortune shall soon be mine, and I'm expecting a boat load of groupies to come knocking at my door any minute now.

The "Awful Album Covers" post earlier this week was my 100th entry on HubPages. So... am I rich yet? Nope. Have I learned anything from the experience thus far? Possibly.

I had a few Trapper Keepers in my day I thought they were bad ass too.

I found out what a Pee Chee was, I never had seen one before. I thought it was like a Big Chief notebook or something.

Me likey Stryper too but I'm not too stoked about this one. I'll still snag it though to keep the collection complete.

Stryper has been postin' some samples from it on their Facebook page and some of the re-recordings sound pretty good... and one of the new songs (I forget which one I heard) was pretty boss as well.

I do wonder why they bothered to re-record "Sing-Along Song," though. Dammit I HATE that song!! The original was bad enough!

I'll check them out and yeah, Sing-Along Song sucks!

This one's not music or movie related, it's just something I needed to get off my chest. This past week I've decided to (finally) give up my long standing smokeless-tobacco habit, which I've been doing since I was in my teens. This is not my first attempt at quitting, but I am hoping that I can make this one stick.

I figure if I wrote a blog about it, then I'd have to make it stick this time cuz if I back slid, then I'd have to admit my failure all over the internet and look like a schmuck.

Anyway, it's been seven days thus far and I haven't killed anybody yet!! Onward and upward!!

Loved the article on the 10 best Metal Docs, good stuff man, I think the only one I know I've seen is the Anvil story, I'll have to check out the others, I have the one on death metal on my list of netflix stuff to check out, good stuff man.
