Toby Driver & co just released the teaser trailer for their new album.
Quote :
This is a teaser trailer for the upcoming 95-minute Kayo Dot album, HUBARDO. These clips are UNMASTERED, which means that the final version of the recordings will be louder and clearer. Please listen to this mix as loud as possible and on good speakers to get all the details and low end.
We're still running a pre-order for this album over at kayodot.bigcartel.com We need to raise a lot more money in order to pay for mastering and manufacturing (about 200 copies), so please don't hesitate to preorder now, and share this widget, so that we can get the album out in time for our tenth anniversary in Autumn 2013. Thanks for your support!
It's definitely got some of maudlin of the Well's sound in it this time around; the first that's been evident since Choirs of the Eye. I can't wait!
For those who haven't heard anything from either band, here's a few samples.
I really love these guys and I'm really looking forward to this release.

I hate to reply to my own thread, but...
Even if you don't check out the new album, I strongly urge you guys look into (at least) Bath/Leaving Your Body Map. Really interesting, really dense stuff.

Sorry man, I forgot you'd jammed any of them. If you liked maudlin, you'd probably like Choirs of the Eye best. It's Kayo Dot's most "metal" oriented album; but even then it's still pretty diverse style wise.

Forgot to post this when it dropped a few weeks back, Kayo Dot's new song "And He Built Him a Boat".
