| My mom had cats when I was growing up. One of which, Misty, a cream colored Persian, lived to be 15...she was nearly blind, could barely utter a sound (her "meows" were muted and scratchy) and was cranky as hell in her old age...good thing she was declawed because if you sat too close to her when she wanted to be alone, she's swat you several times...LOL! | |

Thanx. Lester had a good long life tho.. My wife had the cat before she had me, she adopted him from a shelter a couple of years before we met. He was maybe two years old when she got him so we estimate he was 15 or even older when he passed. That pic of the two of them in the window is our favorite shot of him. My 7 year old keeps a copy of it on his wall cuz he says he "never wants to forget Lester." (all together now: awwwwwww... hahaha) Shadow is 12 now but still acts like a dumb ass kitten whenever there's an empty paper bag or cardboard box handy. | |

| Man Gershom has one kewl cat who got mauled by dogs or somethin like that. That was unfortunate and it left him cross-eyed and his jaw never shuts right and his tongue always hangs out. He is a resilient bastard! | |

| A CAT with a heart-shaped marking on its side is looking for love, or at least a new home, as one of the abandoned pets at a Plymouth home. Black and white moggy Bette Davis was handed in to Gables Farm Dogs' and Cats' Home last month after being abandoned She is now on the road to recovery having been cleaned and well-fed by the Plymouth home. Gables carer Katie Barkell said: "We were gobsmacked when we first saw her. The heart shape is perfect and completely unique. "We're desperate for a caring family to come forward and take her in as she has such a lovely temperament to match the markings on her side. "We've never seen a cat, or dog for that matter, like her and we'll be sad to see her go." | |

| that's cool!
Adopting cats is a good thing. As long as you get them fixed they are basically self-reliant, are born knowing how to use a litter box, etc...no training needed there!
I like being able to leave for a weekend and not have to pay someone to walk my cat. As long as they have food and water they are groovy.

| The "classic" version of that "ceiling cat" pic sez "Ceiling Cat is watching you masturbate," but when I saw the "self-fellate" one I thought that was even funnier. | |
