One of my my favorite Black Sabbath cover tunes. This track from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is all synth on the original album, here Goatsnake changes the instrumentation to heavily detuned guitar and it sounds AMAZING (the guitarist is also a founding member of Sunn).
The mid-section is especially nice, overdubbing a single Cellist to sound like a string section. Killer track.

Here's a short and sweet instrumental thrash tune by Witchery, it's cool how they reference the old Metal Church instrumental Merciless Onslaught near the end.

I like the majority of the X Factor, but Virtual XI isn't nearly as good.

I don't care too much for Virtual XI, that album was really off for Maiden. Both Blaze albums have good songs, but the X-Factor was actually a decent album as well.

Larry Carlton's brilliant guitar work really moves this track into the stratosphere.

One of the best Dan tunes. That whole album is really underrated, I'd say.
Not that Steely Dan ever made an album that wasn't incredible.

I Robot is a cool album, I'll have to see if Spotify has it, haven't listened to it for years.

Yes it is, the first two are gems. The bonus content on the first 2 albums are kewl as well. I really like that instrumental version of 'I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You'.

I caught part of this song on Letterman(on my way to Craig Ferguson) last night and found it interesting.
