| The lead single "Armorist" grew on me and I guess I should say WDA left a better first impression on me than TEA but that album is no slouch by no means as I really think it's kickass. Maybe I'm just so surprised how well Blitz' voice sounds @ his age. Now: | |

| There wasn't anything really "wrong" with The Electric Age, but I don't think it was as good as Ironbound. I think Ironbound had the more memorable songs.
For example, Bring Me The Night would fit beautifully on their 80s albums and it's just as catchy and vibrant as that era.
Overkill is just like Motorhead, basically every album is good, but about 1 out of every 3 releases just stands out more than the others.

| Well put, Shawn. Amazon pisses me off, if it ain't the "auto-rip" crap it's the "prime" bs. | |

| Opeth - Pale Communion Not surprisingly this album leaked a little over a month before the release date. Not surprisingly it's going to be my "album of the year", Opeth have managed to easily top Heritage, an album I thought they might have a hard time matching. But instead they've surpassed it. I've only listened to it once but I would already have no problem saying it's their best album and proof that they are just getting started 20 years into their career. | |

| I'm tempted to go grab it, but I'm holding fast for release day.
I recently purchased Heritage and it's been at regular play in my house. Even my wife and kids think it's wonderful.

Not yet. I'm going on this major 10 hour drive for work week after next; I plan on going through their discog. I wonder if my wife will let me throw it on for our anniversary trip tomorrow.

How is THAT???? Amazing, as expected. The Chateau tapes never sounded this good, nor the original album for that matter. CD1 is the stereo remix CD2 is the Chateau remix The DVD contains hi-rez stereo (24/96) of the remix, the 5.1 mix, and a flat transfer of the original mix from the original master tapes, also in 24/96.
