Jazz fans will either love or hate T.R.A.M-Lingua Franca.

What is that?
Siena Root is great, I just listened to Kaleidoscope a couple weeks ago.

It's a Jazz supergroup if sorts featuring Tosin Abasi and Javier Reyes of AAL, Adrian Terrazas of The Mars Volta and Eric Moore of Suicidal Tendencies. They released an EP in February but I didn't realize it until today b/c when I've checked I had found nothing...

I've never liked Chris Poland's guitar tone...

I saw Flatt & Scruggs in concert around 1977 or so, my Stepfather was a big fan.

I'm not much for his type of music but I woulda dug seeing him live, he was such an important part of Americana.

My Stepfather dragged me to a bunch of bluegrass concerts when I was a kid. That music is great fun live. It just doesn't do anything for me on record.

Most of these online reviews for Point Of Entry are ridiculous. Metal fans can be so one-dimensional.

Unfortunately yes, which is why I generally gravitate toward people that like a variety of styles of music, talking to "metal-only" people usually gets frustrating/boring within 15 minutes.

'Midnight On The Bay' by the Stills-Young Band has always been a beauty of a song...

It's funny how them having fun and playing something closer to their roots is called "overly commercial". If anything it inspired me to write me own.
